Scholarship
 
The ABPA Scholarship is awarded annually to a student completing their freshman year. ABPA contributes $1,000 to the student through the Princeton University Scholarship/FinancialAid Program. The scholarship recipient also receives a $500 book award.

Davionshante Chism '09 - 2006-2007 ABPA Scholarship Recipient

Davionshante was born and raised in Los Angeles California, with her six brothers. She graduated from Palmdale High School in Antelope Valley. She plans on a major in Politics, with an emphasis on Near Eastern Studies and a certificate in African-American Studies. She is a co-founder of the Pan African Graduation Celebration and the Black Princeton Alumni Speaker Series. She is active with the Black Men's Awareness Group Conference; Sexual Harassment Advising Resource Education; Raks Odalisque, a belly dancing troupe; the Princeton Association of Black Women; the Undergraduate Student Government; as well as serving as Vice President for the Black Student Union.

 
 
Dwight Draughon, Jr. '08 - 2005-2006 ABPA Scholarship Recipient
Dwight was born and raised in the South Bronx, graduated from the Lawrenceville School and plans to major in history with a focus in Afro-American Studies. He is a Founder and President of Hip Hop: Art & Life; Black Student Union President; and a member of the Trustee Initiative Committee, Campus Club Committee, Undergraduate Life Committee and Pan-African Graduation Committee.
